District of Valenciennes

The district of VALENCIENNES had 15 post offices between 1852 and 1876. It was a very industrial district, so it was relatively well provided with post offices.

Before 1860, the district had 8 post offices. After 1860 and until 1873, 8 additional post offices were opened.

Most combinations can be found without great difficulty.

The linear of RAISMES and ONNAING with small numerals are rare. Types 24 and 17 from the ARTRES office are difficult (post office opened in 1873).

Types 22 from MORTAGNE and HASNON are also difficult.
